WARRANTY REQUEST SERVICES

All warranty service requests must be initiated by emailing warranty@exclusivelyhybrid.com the following information:

• First and Last Name

• Phone Number

• Vehicle Identification Number

• Picture of the vehicle odometer

• Invoice Number

• Images of Diagnostic Trouble Codes including Freeze Frame Data / Copy of Complete Diagnostic Report of all the vehicles computer modules.

• Detailed description of the symptoms your vehicle is having (lights illuminating on the dashboard, engine is running rough, the vehicle stalled, no lights on the dashboard, etc.)

• Description of any work recently performed on the vehicle.

Upon review of the received documents, and determination of warranty eligibility, Exclusively Hybrid LLC  will repair the failed battery at no charge to the customer. Exclusively Hybrid LLC does not reimburse for diagnostic or towing expenses associated with warranty claims. 

Limited Liability & Waiver of Claims

Exclusively Hybrid LLC guarantees our battery for the entirety of the warranty period regardless of the mileage. Our Exclusively Hybrid LLC Unlimited Mileage Warranty includes battery repair for a failed battery in accordance with our warranty process stated above.

This product warranty becomes null and void if the damage is caused by misuse, abuse, or accident; the attachment of any accessory unauthorized by the manufacturer; alteration to the product; improper installation; exposure to harsh weather and/or chemicals; or lack of proper maintenance. This warranty also becomes null and void if the product is opened or any sticker is tampered with, broken, or missing, or if the damage is caused by any other condition that is beyond the control of Exclusively Hybrid LLC.

IN ALL CASES, EXCLUSIVELY HYBRID LLC SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE EXCLUDED.

By accepting this product, you hereby waive and release any claim now or hereafter existing against Exclusively Hybrid LLC, its employees, officers, directors, agents, and customers, on account of any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action, and all legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal, damages, losses, liabilities (including, but not limited to, strict liability in tort), obligations, penalties, judgments or fines and other sanctions, and any costs and expenses in connection therewith, including legal fees and expenses of whatever kind and nature, which may result from or arise out of injury to or death or loss or damage to property or the loss of use of any property which may result from or arise out of the possession, condition, use or operation of this product.

Additional Provisions

• The warranty is transferable within 30 (thirty) days of purchase. Only one (1) transfer is allowable per battery.  A copy of the bill of sale including the new registered owner’s name must be provided to Exclusively Hybrid LLC within the 30 day period of vehicle sale. You may not resell the battery to another party separate from the vehicle and maintain the warranty.

• Exclusively Hybrid LLC warranties its product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service (not commercial).

• Warranty period lasts from the date of purchase until the expiration of the policy term, as noted on invoicing. There is no limit on mileage under this warranty policy. Warranty terms will not be restarted for ANY reason.

• Battery purchased for commercial use comes with a 12 months/unlimited miles warranty.

• Warranty of the purchased battery is NOT transferable to any other vehicle except where required by law. This means the warranty only applies to the purchased battery in the original vehicle. This warranty becomes null and void if the battery is located in the vehicle other than the original vehicle.

• The warranty becomes null and void if the vehicle is totaled in an accident or otherwise written off.

• If the battery is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, Exclusively Hybrid LLC will repair the hybrid battery free of charge once the vehicle has been diagnosed with a hybrid battery failure and will review the diagnostic information to confirm the failure.

• If the 12-volt battery is not an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery, then the customer must replace the 12-volt battery to have warranty coverage.

  • AGM means absorbed glass mat, and it means the battery acid inside is absorbed into fiberglass mats instead of sitting as a free-flowing liquid. The fiberglass mats spread more of the electrolyte in contact with the ultra-thin lead plates — all while cushioning the battery against knocks, bumps and vibrations. Because of the absorbent glass mats, battery makers can literally squeeze in more lead plates. More lead in the battery means more available power.

This Warranty will be Null and Void if the following occurs:

• Improper installation.

• The vehicle is stored for a period of thirty (30) days or more.

• The vehicle is driven less than 5000 miles in a calendar year.

• Physical damage was caused after the delivery of the battery to the customer.

• Damages or defects that may have been caused by shipping, if accepted at delivery and not documented with the carrier.

• Removal, tampering, or damage to warranty labels.

• Any modification or bypass of vehicle systems not in congruence with the manufacturer’s specifications.

• Reinstallation of the High Voltage battery into a different vehicle.

• The hybrid battery becomes damaged due to a stalling engine and/or the vehicle being driven when the engine is not operating properly. Diagnostic trouble codes that indicate this condition include but are not limited to P0A0F, P0AB9, P3190, P3191, P3193, P1196, P0101, P0102, P0505.

• Vehicle conditions that may cause premature failure.

• Water damage, fire, or other damaging incidents in which the battery’s environment is compromised.

• Any condition beyond the control of Exclusively Hybrid LLC.

• Failure to return any complete cores within 45 days will result in warranty being voided and any core deposit charges collected will not be refunded.
